Clevelander - Inventory Control Clerk

|Description:||Clevelander Hotel is currently seeking committed individuals to ensure proper and accurate maintenance and storage of inventory kept within the hotel storeroom areas, bars, kitchens and supply depots. This position requires the ability to count, record data and efficiently and accurately store products in appropriate locations. |Duties:||Duties and Responsibilities:|
•Maintain beverage controls including inventory and Scannabar procedures.
•Participates in daily, monthly and annual inventory of beverage, liquor related items, and company property.
•Participates in weekly beverage inventories.
•Physical counts must match computer records.
•Responsible for managing incoming and outgoing supplies and products.
•Maintain stock rotation and dispose of and account for outdated stock.
•Stock and issue goods as requested through an approved requisition process.
•Ensures proper layout and space management of storeroom spaces.
•Ensures the workspace health and safety requirements are maintained to company standards.
•Maintains cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and surrounding storage containers.
•Retrieves and delivers requisitioned items to/from the warehouse based on the established delivery schedule, in a timely and efficient manner.
•Communicates with the Inventory Control manager regarding changes (or shortages) in inventory or at the off-site storage locations.
•Maintains and ensures compliance of all policies and procedures.
•Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
•Knowledge of warehouse procedures
• Able to perform business math skills (i.e. adding, subtracting)
•Problem-solving and analytical ability
•Ability to follow written instructions and documented procedures
•Ability to verbally communicate and take direction
•Strong attention to detail
•High energy level and self-motivated
•Basic understanding and use of Excel and Word programs
•Able to work independently with some direction
•Work is performed in a warehouse/basement environment and requires evening, weekend and holiday hours as needed. Extended periods of standing and walking are required.
•18 years old; High school diploma or GED required.
•1 year of warehouse/storage (or similar position) experience preferred
•Must be able to lift and maintain a minimum of 100Lbs.
